Learn what it means to be on mission with Springs Community Church

1. Where do you see the effects of Genesis 3–11; brokenness in ourselves, our relationships, or our culture showing up most clearly today? How does our culture tend to explain the problem differently than Genesis does?
2. Read Genesis 3:8–13 and compare it with Romans 5:6–11. What do these passages reveal about how God responds to people who have rebelled, hidden, or become separated from Him? What does this teach us about the character of God?
3. Genesis 1–11 shows humanity repeatedly running from God while God continues pursuing humanity. Where are you most tempted to hide from God, distance yourself from Him, or believe that He is disappointed with you; and what would it look like this week to respond to His pursuit through Jesus rather than running or hiding?

Middle School
1. What do Genesis 1–11 teach us about what people were made for and what sin has broken?
2. Where do you see God continuing to pursue people even after they rebel against Him?
High School
1. How does the pattern of Paradise → Pain → Pursuit help explain the story of Genesis 1–11?
2. Why is Genesis 12 such an important turning point in God’s plan to rescue and bless the nations?
