Our 2026 Annual Update is a celebration of all God has done in and through the Springs this past year! From stories of life change and ministry highlights to financial updates and a look at what’s ahead, we invite you to take a moment to reflect on God’s faithfulness and how He continues to work through our church family as we help people love and live for Jesus, together.
Each week, our Setup & Teardown Teams faithfully serve behind the scenes to help create spaces for our church body to gather, worship, and grow together.
We have a significant need for more willing hands to join these teams! You don't need a particular skill set or gifting, just a willingness to show up, serve alongside others, and help meet a practical need in the life of our church.
Sometimes serving is simply seeing a need and being willing to meet it. We'd love for you to be part of these teams!

1. It's easy to make Christianity about our comfort, convenience, and what we receive rather than what we give. As we see from our passage this week, Abram's faith moved him from observation to action, risking his life to rescue Lot. Where might you be choosing comfort or convenience over costly obedience to Jesus? What is one step of sacrificial love or obedience you may be avoiding?
2. Read Genesis 14 and Matthew 6:19-24. Abram refused wealth that could compromise his allegiance to God. Jesus teaches that where our treasure is, our hearts will be also. What does these passages teach us about the relationship between our treasures and our hearts? How can we recognize when our possessions, success, or financial security are becoming more important to us than God?
3. Melchizedek blesses Abram before Abram gives him a tenth of everything. The blessing comes first; Abram's response follows. How does understanding that God's grace comes before our obedience change the way you live for Jesus? Where are you still trying to earn God's approval rather than responding to the grace you've already received in Christ?

Middle School
1. Why did Abram let Lot choose the land first? What does that show us about trusting God?
2. Lot chose what looked best to him. How can something look good at first but still lead us in the wrong direction?
High School
1. Abram gives up his right to choose first because he trusts God’s promise. Where are you most tempted to control the outcome instead of trusting God?
2. Lot makes his decision based largely on what he can see. What does Genesis 13 teach us about the difference between making choices by appearance and making choices by faith?
