I’m New

Welcome to The Springs – we hope to see you on a Sunday!

We’re so glad you’re interested in learning more about us. We are an imperfect group of people who love Jesus Christ. We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at The Springs Community Church a great one!

Below are some frequently asked questions that we answer to help alleviate any stress before checking us out. If you have any further questions, we would love to help! You can contact us by clicking the link below (link).

Where are you located?

Springs Community Church currently rents out the McKenna Children’s Museum each Sunday morning at 10:00 am for our weekly, corporate gathering. The facility is located at 801 West San Antonio Street New Braunfels, Texas 78130.

What can I expect?

Simply stated, at The Springs, we’re all about Jesus. You won’t be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. And we don’t care how you’re dressed or what candidate you voted for. Our church is made up of imperfect people with every kind of story imaginable.

Want to know the best part? No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone. He made room for us, and we know He has room for you.

We are an exciting, casual, and relaxed bunch of folks. Come as you are and expect to feel welcome as our guest. If you want to let us know you’re coming, we would love to make sure members are available to not only help you feel more at home but to go and hang out with you following the service to simply give you another friendly face. What is a service like?

In total, a Springs church service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the worship band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, we will do a short time of announcements. At the end of announcements, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. Our hope for the message is to clearly and passionately proclaim the Gospel as we try and engage our hearts with God’s Word. You can check out our most recent sermon here.

Where do I start if I want to connect?

The best place to start would be to attend our Newcomers class. In this class, you learn about our vision, values, and how to plug in. It’s the best place to start. Newcomers is offered this first weekend of every month following the corporate gathering in Room A. Lunch is provided, and you’re more than welcome to bring along your kiddos! For more information on Newcomers, please click here.

What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week, and while they have a blast, our goal is to help them become fully-devoted in a love for Jesus. In addition to this, the other thing we make a priority is your child’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Springs Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Springs Kids experience. Our Springs Kids ministry is offered for kids ages infant through Grade 5. For more information on our Kids Ministry, please click here.

What about my teenager?

Our goal is to see every student come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, as well as grow in their faith to see how Jesus transforms every area of their lives for the better. We are committed to helping students from 6th – 12th grade becomes committed, passionate. We do this by creating a relational, fun, and gospel-driven atmosphere for both Middle and High School Students. These students will join their parents in the regular service for the corporate time of worship, and following the worship, they will transition to their own respective rooms to be led by our Student Leaders.  For more information on our Students Ministry, please click here.
