During our four-step Membership process, you’ll not only learn what it means to be on mission here at The Springs, but you ‘ll get an overview of the equipping, serving, and connecting opportunities to help you believe, belong, be trained, and be strong in a life of ministry.

If you’re wondering why Membership even matters, we would love for you to explore more about that topic here.

Step 1 – Learn [Newcomers]

The best way to learn about all that God is doing through The Springs is to attend our Newcomers class. In this class, you learn about our vision, values, and how to plug in. It’s the best place to start. Newcomers are offered this first weekend of every month following the corporate gathering in Room A. Lunch is provided, and you’re more than welcome to bring along your kiddos!

See below to register for our upcoming Newcomers class.

There are no upcoming events at this time.

Step 2 – Commit [Membership Class 1 & Membership Class 2]

If after attending Newcomers you want to consider becoming a Member, attend Part I and II of our Membership Class. To complete the Membership Class, you’ll be asked to sign our Membership Covenant and submit your written testimony and share your verbal testimony. Upon completion, someone from our team will be sure to follow-up promptly!

Membership Classes are offered every other month on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month. We ask that you please do all you can to attend Membership Class Part I & II consecutively. These classes take place in Room A following the corporate gathering. Lunch is provided, and you’re more than welcome to bring along your kiddos!

Step 3 – Serve

Please identify and commit to a place of serving at Springs Community Church. You can find more information on service areas by clicking here. In addition to that, The Springs is actively working on identifying strategic ministry partners in our community that you can serve with on a recurring basis as well.

Step 4 – Join a Community Group

Having completed the three steps above, you’re invited to attend Community Launch. The goal of this class will be to equip potential membership on not only the biblical role of community but also how that contextually works itself out in our 21st century, Texan context. It is following the completion of this class where you connect into a Community Group.

Connecting to a Community Group at The Springs can take place in one of two ways:

  1. Existing Group – Either through a personal relationship you may already have, or through staff assigning you to a community group, join a current Springs Community Group based on similar life stage, availability, and location.
  2. New Group – Launch a new Community Group with other individuals that are recently new to The Springs. These groups would be assigned based on life stage, availability, and location. IN addition to that, Springs staff will work to identify a leader to oversee the new Community Group.
