Springs Family,
Many of you have reached out asking how we, as a church, can support our neighbors in Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country after the devastating floods and tragic loss of life. We are so encouraged by your hearts to help, and after prayer and research, we believe there are three meaningful ways we can respond together as the body of Christ:
1. PRAY
We are asking every member of Springs to commit to praying daily for the next 21 days. Below are seven prayer prompts—one for each day of the week—to guide you:

For missing adults and children to be found.
For rescue workers’ physical, mental, and spiritual health.
For camps, especially Camp Mystic, to recover and thrive.
For the cities of Kerrville, Hunt, Ingram, and all affected areas.
For the local church to be a refuge and source of hope.
For many to come to know Christ as their only Hope.
For God to be glorified through it all.

2. GIVE
After much research, we believe the best way to meet immediate needs is through gift cards, which allow families to purchase exactly what they need when they need it. We will be collecting gift cards over the next two Sundays.

3. SERVE
Authorities in the Kerrville area have stressed that it is imperative right now to let the search and rescue teams do their work. As with many catastrophic events, the need for help will extend well beyond the next few weeks. We will continue to monitor how we can serve in the future.
We are actively looking for ways to serve through local churches and trusted non-profits as needs arise. If you have a trusted contact or know of a potential partner organization, please reach out to us and share.
If you have been affected by the flooding — whether in the Kerrville area or even here in New Braunfels — and need help, please reach out to us. We will assemble teams to come alongside you and support you in any way we can.
Thank you for your outpouring of love and support for our brothers and sisters in Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country. Together we can be the hands and feet of Jesus in this time of great need.
If you have any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
