About 1HOPE for Kids

Formerly known as 4KIDS of South Texas, 1HOPE exists as a Christ-centered Foster Care and Adoption Agency that trains, licenses, and supports Christian families across a spectrum of needs. The Springs has partnered with 1HOPE to create awareness of the great needs of individuals and families in the foster care system, and to help us support Members of our body feeling led to meet some of those needs by fostering children. 1HOPE is a tremendous ministry with opportunities to serve.

If you would like to serve 1HOPE alongside The Springs, here are a few ways:

• Volunteer at their New Braunfels Foster Closet

• Become a certified foster care baby-sitter to directly support foster families

• Take their course to consider if direct foster care is the right next step for you

Serve with 1HOPE for Kids

Step 1: Membership

We ask all External Focus volunteers to be committed to becoming a Springs Member. This includes attending the Membership Class, signing the Membership Covenant, sharing your testimony, and committing to join a Community Group.

About Membership

Step 2: Serve Form

Once you have started the membership process at the Springs, the next step to join our 1HOPE Serve Team is to fill out the Serve Form and select External Focus.
