About 1HOPE for Kids
Formerly known as 4KIDS of South Texas, 1HOPE exists as a Christ-centered Foster Care and Adoption Agency that trains, licenses, and supports Christian families across a spectrum of needs. The Springs has partnered with 1HOPE to create awareness of the great needs of individuals and families in the foster care system, and to help us support Members of our body feeling led to meet some of those needs by fostering children. 1HOPE is a tremendous ministry with opportunities to serve.
If you would like to serve 1HOPE alongside The Springs, here are a few ways:
• Volunteer at their New Braunfels Foster Closet
• Become a certified foster care baby-sitter to directly support foster families
• Take their course to consider if direct foster care is the right next step for you

1Hope Parents' Day Out
Join us for our annual all-church service event. This year we are partnering with 1HOPE for Kids to offer a day of respite care for foster families on Saturday, February 15th.
There are multiple ways to serve, both caring for kids who will attend and supporting in other ways.
Kids Care is our biggest need and volunteers will serve the full day with two breaks. Children younger than 12 years old will not be able to volunteer for spots.
Due to the nature of this event, we will not have Childcare for volunteers. If you want to serve with your younger children, Set Up and Tear Down are great options.
