1. Where do you see the “spirit of Babel” at work in our culture today; people or systems seeking to build a name, find security, or live independently of God? Where are you tempted to do the same?
2. Read Acts 2:1–12 alongside Genesis 11:1–9. What similarities and contrasts do you see between Babel and Pentecost, particularly regarding language, the nations, and God’s purpose? What does this help us understand about God’s heart to gather people from every nation to Himself?
3. Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18). What difference would it make in your daily life to actually live as though Jesus has all authority—not just authority over your Sunday life, but your plans, relationships, fears, and future?
