MK Gauci grew up in Houston, TX but has always wanted to be a New Braunfels local. She first came to New Braunfels in 2003 when a friend invited her to T Bar M Camps. It was there that Jesus captured her heart and she returned year after year, soon serving on summer staff every summer in college. MK attended Baylor University (SIC EM BEARS) where she majored in Child & Family Studies. In college, her love for the Lord continued to grow as she had the opportunity to invest in and be loved by the local church. She volunteered in youth ministry for three years, getting to walk with a small group of girls through their middle school years. MK claims that the two things she misses the most about Waco are Harris Creek (her church) and Common Grounds coffee shop. After graduation, she spent two years at T Bar M as a part of a discipleship program and then as a coordinator for retreat groups.

MK is excited to join The Springs staff as the Children’s Director. She believes that kids can be fully devoted followers of Christ and loves to equip those who work with kids to love them well and teach truth along the way. She can’t wait to get to know all the kids, families, and volunteers who call The Springs home.

Extremely competitive but terrible at sports, board games and cards are the way to MK’s heart. She also loves cooking, coffee shops, and being outside. You can frequently find her at 2Tarts or trying to catch some sunshine by the water.
